The volume summarizes the results of the documentation research conducted from January 1981 through March 1982. The report discusses the development of the irrigators' associations, farmers' involvement in the layout of canals and terminal facilities and in the construction of these facilities, and the associations' initial plans for operation and maintenance of the system.
