CWR-VB is a Windows computer package for calculating crop water requirements and irrigation scheduling by modelling soil moisture deficit. It employs the methodologies recommended by FAO. The Windows interface is used to provide a highly visual data input and output system with extensive error trapping. The program is able to use existing CROPWAT 5.7/CLIMWAT data files and is being further developed in collaboration with FAO to be fully compatible with the forthcoming CROPWAT version 7.0.
